It’s nice to see beaming faces on the news today as most receive their much-anticipated GCSE results. Here’s hoping BTEC students hear something soon.
On top of the chaos of the algorithm and stress for learners, teachers, parents, and admission offices, of course, I can’t help but notice apprenticeships was barely mentioned as a route to progress?
It begs the question, is it because they simply aren’t aware of the potential routes an apprenticeship can provide, or are universities/sixth forms/colleges the only offering a school gives as an option?
We are living in such diverse times with so many options available to school leavers, it just makes us more motivated to get out there and really shout about the REAL benefits of apprenticeships.
What do you think?
